A couple of Friday’s ago now I was over in Manchester chilling out with Adam Elmakias and the guys from A Day To Remember a the Bring Me The Horizon gig in Manchester. ADTR were on tour with BMTH as support, which both may I add were brilliant!

I was firstly missed the first track because me and Adam were too busy filling our mouths full of food from the kebab shop next to the Academy. So we had to run in and missed the first track but then managed to get some keepers from the second and third track. After this met back up with Adam, then went and chilled out in ADTR dressing room for a little while had some tea :) then came back down to the stage and got all access to stage and back stage, which was very cool indeed, thanks Adam. So from then on for the last three tracks and encore I was shooting from on stage which was new experience for me, but must admit it was pretty neat to say the least!

When the guys came off for encore they all were just chilling next to me while the crowd was chanting for them for more, got a couple of portraits of them back stage while they were waiting, then they headed back out and so did I and carried on shooting on stage. Then there was a stage rush were loads of fans from the audience climbed over the barriers and everyone got up on stage with the band while they were still playing, good times indeed! Anyway now here are the photos from the gig, and some exclusive ones that have not seen the light of day anywhere else!!!

Went over to Manchester a couple of week back and met up with fellow photographer and generally sound guy Adam Elmakias at Manchester Academy as he has been on tour with the sound guys from A Day To Remember while they have been supporting Bring Me The Horizon on their European tour.

Met up with Adam chilled with him for a while and went to go grab some food from Subway and then met rest of the band eating in there, so we all ate and then headed back over to the buses and then chilled out for before the gig in the tour bus with them all. Got my photo pass then headed in and started shooting it up in the pit doing my thang!

A couple of week back now, I went out with my mate from college, Dom to go shoot him and some of his mates street skating and riding. It was rather enjoyable and cold out, but good laugh never the less.

We went to a few different locations but those were the most successful spots to shoot and skate at.

I shot Black Stone Cherry two weeks ago now at Leeds O2 Academy after Nick Pickles, the Academy’s house photographer, asked me to cover it for him, so thank you! I had never heard of or heard them before this gig and I must say that they were alright! Imagine Lynyrd Skynyrd but heavier and that is Black Stone Cherry basically. Either way they had a great stage presence and put on a good show!

I shot a band called Duff McKagans Loaded at Leeds O2 Academy who were support Black Stone Cherry, and I was covering for Nick Pickles the Academy’s house photographer. So thank you for asking me to cover it dude!
